Statement
Since childhood, art has fascinated and preoccupied me. A
driving urge fueled by experimentation and discovery summarizes my artistic
modus operandi. Never content and always believing there is “more,” I keep some
elements of work, while introducing others. This process includes use of
conventional and unorthodox painting, drawing and sculpture media; combinations
of two- and three-dimensional formats; abstract, figurative, and social
commentary formats. I love color and line, combining them to bring illumination
and nuance to tension and control. For me, there is “never an end in sight.”
Always the compulsion, the search and temporary pleasure of resolution.
