ARTIST STATEMENT
Visual Poetry + Color RAMBLE, my visual
poetry art piece, invites contemplation on landscapes and the pressing issue of
climate change. The variegated blue tones symbolize the Earth's vast bodies of
water, reflecting the delicate balance of our ecosystem. Vibrant oranges and magenta
embody the warmth and vibrancy of nature, urging us to appreciate its beauty.
The wriggly lines evoke the unpredictable and turbulent forces of nature,
alluding to the transformative effects of climate change on our landscapes. RAMBLE
prompts viewers to reflect upon the interconnectedness of our actions with the
environment and highlights the urgent need for sustainable solutions.
